Adi Sharon

Adi Sharon was born in Israel. Graduated with excellence the “Samuel Rubin Music Academy” at the Tel-Aviv University in Israel, as well as the Hochschule für Musik “Hanns Eisler” in Berlin (prof. Klaus Thunemann).

Attended in master classes in Europe guided by famous professors such as prof. Sergio Azzolini (Switzerland), prof. Dag Jensen (Germany), prof. Milan Turkovic (Austria) and others.
For almost a year took Bassoon lessons by Selim Aykal, Principal Bassoonist of the “Deutsche Oper” Berlin.

Participated successfully in the ARD competition in Munich, and won 1. Prize at competitions in Israel.

Adi Sharon was the Principal Bassoonist of the Neubrandenburger Philharmonie and plays today at different Orchestras, such as Preußisches Kammerorchester Prenzlau, Kammerorchester Unter den Linden and more.

Furthermore she was a scholar of the Ensemble Villa Musica – Competence in Chamber Music. Currently Adi Sharon performs mainly in Berlin area and takes active part in chamber music and operates as a manager, an arranger and a Bassoon player in „Fagötter+“. She is also a member of "Alec Wilder Octet Berlin" and plays since 2016 with the clarinetist and the pianist Michael und Marina Kaljushny.

Her teaching career (bassoon and recorders) began at 2006 at the “Musikwerkstatt Eden” (music school) in Oranienburg and the music school in Neuruppin besides to private pupils in Berlin.
Since 2012 teaches Adi Sharon at the music and art school Havelland in Falkensee. Since 2015 she teaches also at the Young Orchestra School in Berlin.
